Hella

Actually, not hella. I played Monday and Wednesday this week. Didn't make any FT's or anything though. Played very small schedules with only the big tourneys.

I just can't seem to find the grind in me when I'm playing on my laptop. It just isn't fun. I dunno, I'll get these monitors figured out and start grinding again I guess. I'm enjoying my small vacation though.

My brother Bryan told me that his wife is pregnant yesterday though so that's neat. In like 8 months I'll be an Uncle, again. Woot.

Anyway, not much to really report other than that. I suck.

Haven't had an update in a while..

Don't even know where to start it's been so long. Haven't played much poker so that'll be easy to update. Play last week and got 3rd in the Wednesday 300 for ~$30k. Would have liked to have won but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Other than that nothing cool to report other than I'm getting excited for FTOPS season. I got my gold jersey and ftops jacket in the mail recently. Both will never be worn but they're pretty cool to have nonetheless.

I went to the Bahamas for the PCA and met a lot of people. I always like meeting people because it's cool to put a face to a screenname. Most people seemed pretty chill although a few, without mentioning names are pretty huge douchebags and I'd prefer to not spend more than 40 seconds with them the entire rest of my life.

The hotel was sweet, the view was sick. The food was pretty good, and everything was overpriced, what more could you ask for.

As for the tourney I busted on Day 1A's second to last level. I didn't play too many interesting hands other than one vs busto_soon where I had quads and I'm still trying to figure out what he might have had. I played with busto_soon, martine23, Marcel Luske and a few euros/other online people I didn't know. Again, not a very eventful tourney.

Only played the 2k side event there and busted in the first couple hours. I'm definitely going to be going to some more EPT's soon though. Probably San Remo and Monte Carlo. Not 100% on either yet though..

I'll try to be blogging more now that I'm back in Ohio in my normal routine.

Although, I'm not sure how much I'm gonna be able to play until I figure out my new monitor situation. if anyones super good with dual monitor shit I bought 2 24"s to replace my 20"s and I can only get the right resolution on one of them.

Fuck the snow

So I had to come back for the holidays or whatever yesterday, it was literally the last day I could come home because there is a family party today that I'm like not allowed to miss. I wish I had decided to leave sooner because obviously as most of you know there was a lot of snow/freezing rain/overall shitty weather. Although, let me tell you, Columbus was 53 and sunny when I left so I wasn't that pleased to be leaving for the arctic tundra known as upstate NY. It took me about 8 hours to go from Columbus to Rochester when it usually takes like 6:15. Oh well, I guess it could have been a lot worse.

I'm not sure if I'll be playing poker on Sunday or not. I probably will be. I hope I do because I'm not sure how much I'll be able to play this week.

Well..

That sucks. I played 32 tourneys on Wednesday, had 3 cashes for total like $700. Pretty bad day for sure. I wasn't that dissatisfied bc I got stacks and I haven't been playing much at all lately but I'm still able to get some stacks so that's a good sign. I do, however, feel as though my game is not where I want it to be at all. I feel like I should have closed one of the tournaments in the passed few days that I got a stack in but really haven't even come close, not even FT. Oh well. I'm gonna try to figure out what I'm doing wrong, if anything blatant, and fix it.

In other news I think the interview I did for CardPlayer will be out soon (if not already) bc I really don't have a clue when it'll be out lol. Also, I'm doing a radio show on www.roundersradio.com tonight at 8 and it'll be a podcast after that. Mostly just informing not telling you to listen bc I have no idea what I'm gonna talk about for an hour but hopefully it's not too bad haha.

Sunday Recap etc

It was a normal Sunday. Bunch of close chances, not much to show for anything. Lost a few thousand. Standard.

I didn't play today, not sure why. Just didn't feel like it. I think I'm going to try and put in an all day session tomorrow, we'll see if I can wake up for it. Haha

Monday Recap

Well I was able to play today and I decided to play a bunch..




That's 14 tables on my 18.4" laptop screen haha. I was 12-14 tabling for almost 3 hours.

I played 23 tourneys from 7pm-1am. I had a bunch of FT bubbles, Cake 109 and 30r and FTP 100 cubed. Along with those bubbles I FT'd the late Stars 50 cubed and got 3rd for $1425 and I also won the Stars 20r for $5200. A positive day is always a good thing in my book.

Again, not sure when I can play again so I guess if I play, I'll blog.

Must be the shoes.

Sunday Sadness

Well I didn't improve on my Wednesday results today, sigh. I don't really feel I got in a good groove in anything. I got deep in the Stars Sunday 500 and cashed the 200+R and ftp nightly 150 but that was it. Wasn't a huge losing day but it wasn't a good one nonetheless.

Not sure when I can play again maybe not until next Saturday or Sunday.

If I do play I'll be sure to blog.

Also, fuck the Steelers for coming back vs. the Cowboys today. That was the worst beat of the day =(
